Galaxy fan living in Seattle. Or more accurately a recovering Eurosnob learning to love MLS by blogging on the Galaxy, since Seattle doesn't have an MLS team yet.

I was at the Seattle game last night, and I can say without a doubt that Seattle played some of the most beautiful soccer I've seen ever, anywhere -- US, South America, Europe, ANYWHERE. The speed of play, the perfect passing and ball control, the almost telepathic knowledge of where teammates were going to be... It was amazing. They were also like that in the second half against Chivas in the last round. I think they needed the first half of that game to get their confidence up and convince themselves that they really are the real deal this year.-- and they are.

Yes, the Rapids were awful last night. They couldn't get anything going at all, and it got worse after Erpen was ejected. (They played dirty all night too, which didn't endear them to anybody.) But that doesn't take away from the fact that the Sounders are the real deal this year and could take it to any MLS team in the League this season.
