As if this wasn’t enough bad news for expansion team Toronto FC, now leading scorer Danny Dichio may be out for the season.
Dichio leads the team with 5 goals, but an injured right foot may keep him out the remainder of the season. An upcoming MRI on the foot will determine his fate. TFC coach Mo Johnston said “We’re not too hopeful”.
It is too bad TFC have been hit with so many injuries this season. They could have put together a nice run to the playoffs in thier first year in the league. Now that is probably unlikely.
Will TFC be able to keep enough players on the roster and healthy to actually finish the season?
