Signs that Philly will be the next MLS expansion

2008 – San Jose

2009 – Seattle

2010 – Philadelphia?

Some people think it will be Philly and aparently there are some plans to raise money for a 20,000 seat soccer stadium that will have some other uses other than just soccer.

I guess if I had to bet on who would get the team in 2010 I’d have to put my money on Philly.  I’ll just be hoping that sometime before I’m retirement age I can see a Minnesota MLS team.

a done deal huh? How come I can’t find any official new release about St. Louis in 2009?

Good luck with that. I really wish the best for everyone looking for an expansion team. I can’t wait for the day MLS can support 30 teams in the USA and Canada.

I thought Seattle was going to happen in 2009. Are they going to bring 2 teams in the same year, or was Seattle completely wrong?
