The New York Red Bulls are not impressed with DC United according to a quote from one of the Red Bulls recently. DC United didn’t beat the Red Bulls in every meeting between the two teams this season, they did play the Red Bulls to a tie one more than one occassion, and all the games that were not even were won by DC United.
From what I saw today there is no reason anyone should be impressed with DC United, but they did all they had to do to go on to the Eastern Conference finals vs the New England Revolution. They’ll probably continue to do just what they need to do to get the MLS Cup in a few weeks. Who cares if NY is impressed or not?
