DC United were inches from stealing all 3 points at the end of the game tonite vs the New England Revolution and if they had, I’d be happy only because my Thursday Futbol prediction was a 2-1 DC victory.  I figured you can’t keep a team like that down forever.  Soon they are gonna go crazy on some poor team.  But the game ends 1-1 and each team go home with a point.

I didn’t get to see the first half, and wasn’t able to see the entire 2nd half either.  I did catch both goals, the red card and the end of the game.  I think the Revolution got the raw end of some bad decisions made by the ref.  The PK call was pretty weak that DC tied the game on, and Joseph’s red card was shocking.  I think some days that would not have even gotten a yellow card.  Everyone is allowed to make mistakes though.

I realized tonite that I agree with just about everything Eric Wynalda ever has to say.  I think Tommy was correct and Eric was wrong last week when they were discussing the hand ball issue, but other than that Eric is usually right on track with what I’m thinking.  I knew he was always my favorite player for a reason.
