David Beckham will be in a Galaxy jersey this fall. Over 5 years he will be making $250 million with the Galaxy, that will be the largest annual salary in American pro team sports history. All that money from a guy who had pretty much lost his starting spot on his current team Real Madrid in Spain.
It will be very interesting to see how Beckham becomes part of American soccer. I wonder if you’ll see more of Beckham on ESPN or E!. My money is on E!.

Beckham is worth every penny. Real Madrid’s loss is L.A. Galaxy’s gain. Good luck Dave!

I fully agree with you. I’m not much of a Galaxy fan, but I hope the addition of Beckham really elevates the MLS all around.
With Real Madrid’s president, Calderon, keeping Beckham on the bench for the rest of the season…my money is now on AEG buying him out of Real Madrid sooner and getting him to the LA Galaxy this spring!

I’m sure everyone would appreciate that, even Beckham after the stupid comments made by Real Madrid’s president.
