Claudio Lopez signs with Kansas City Wizards

This weekend the Kansas City Wizards improved their roster by leaps and bounds by signing their first ever DP player. They got Argentine Claudio Lopez who has participated in 2 world cups for South American powerhouse Argentina. Lopez signed a 1 year deal with the Wizards on terms that are not yet available. The Wizards were in need of a proven goal scorer after the departure of Eddie Johnson who went to Fulham just a few weeks ago.
