Over a month ago there was talk about Robbie Fowler leaving Liverpool to come to MLS, and now is round two I guess.
Aparently this time there is even a specific team he’s talking to. Actually this part is true, Robbie Fowler and New England Revolution have confirmed they have spoken about Fowler coming to play for an old Liverpool friend, Revs coach Steve Nicol.
Fowler’s agent denies that he could be going to the MLS, most people agree that the Revolution cannot afford Fowler, and Liverpool’s coach says that Fowler is the #1 striker at Liverpool right now.
I guess it is possible that Fowler doesn’t get a renewed contract at Liverpool, the Revolution come up with some nice cash and they do bring Fowler. It would be great for MLS and the Revolution if he did come, but I’m not gonna hold my breath waiting for it to happen.

Robbie Fowler has been told that he won’t be with Liverpool again next year. If he couldn’t play at Liverpool again he’d consider retiring from football, but a potential move to the MLS may change his mind. Somehow he has been connected with a move to DC United.
