The New York Red Bulls acquired Nick Rimando from Real Salt Lake on Friday. Real Salt Lake is getting future considerations in return for Rimando, who they only recently got themselves.
This give Bruce Arean 3 quality keepers with Jon Conway and Ronald Waterreus there to back up Rimando who will likey be the starter. It could be likely that FC Toronto make a deal to get Jon Conway in the future.
With the off-season action that Bruce and the Red Bulls have been a part of I think they are gonna be a tough team this year. Losing Guevara will hurt them, but overall I think they’ll have a much better team than they were this past season. New York could battle for the top spot in the east this season.
