I’m Getting Sick Of These Theme Problems

I can never get the theme to work just like I want it and it gets screwed up. I’m gonna go for something real simple, so the site will be a mess for a while. Sorry about that…

New Look MLS Fan Blog

I changed up the theme a little bit last night. Is the new look better or worse than the old one?  Or do syndicate the MLS Fan Blog and never actually come to the site?

My MLS Single Table

I noticed another popular MLS single table has not been updated in quite a while, so I created my own.

If you look at the official MLSnet.com standings you don’t get any idea of who is in the playoffs with their new top 2 seeds plus top 4 wildcard playoff system. Look at my single table and you immediately see who is in the playoffs and who is not.

I also created this table so that it can be added to any website. Go get the code and add it to your own website. I will try to keep it updated until I have the time to write a script that will automatically update the table.

The DCenters added to blogroll

If you are a DC United fan reading here and you haven’t been reading the DCenters, what are you doing?  This is one of the few soccer blogs that I read myself, and mostly I don’t read too much team specific blogs.  So check out The DCenters all of you DC United fans.

Use any method on the contact page to suggest other good blogs that I should have links to here.   I suppose I could just grab and copy links from any other soccer blog I come across.  The DCenters has a pretty nice list.  I’ll have to check some of those out.

New website design

I’m pretty sure I now have one of the ugliest looking websites around. It wasn’t looking bad until I started to try to add the images of Pablo, Brian and Christian in the black up there with the trophy. I’m in real need of someone with some design skill to make something cool to put up there.

EDITED: I changed the image and it looks a lot better with just Pablo and the MLS logo.

Let me know what you think of the new look of the site. I still have the old template, and it could eassily get switched back to that one.

Another Server Change

I’m moving the site one more time.  For a while we went to wordpress.com, but just missed some of the flexibility of having our own hosting space.  Sorry if this causes any RSS problems.

Server Change

If you can read this, you are looking at the new server.  There may be some slight changes or glitches, but hopefully nothing too big.

Got a blog? Get a link.

If you’ve got an MLS related blog, lets trade links.  Contact me with the url of a page that links to the MLS Fan Blog and I’ll add you to a list of links that will appear on each page here.
